Brentwood is a highly affluent community in the western part of
Los Angeles located at the base of the
Santa Monica Mountains which are to the north.
Santa Monica is to the southwest,
Pacific Palisades and
Topanga State Park are to the west,
Bel Air is to the northeast, West Los Angeles is to the southeast, and
Westwood is to the east. Brentwood is located in the
Westside. The current population is estimated to exceed 44,000.

Skirball Cultural Center
The Skirball Cultural Center, established in 1996, is an educational institution dedicated to promoting Jewish heritage and democratic ideals. The campus, located on the Westside in Brentwood, which is part of Los Angeles, includes a museum, libraries, classrooms, a performing arts center, gardens, and a café. The museum was established in 1972 as part of the Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles. It traces the history of the Jews over a period of more than 4,000 years. Memberships help to support the Skirball Cultural Center.
Brentwood Country Club of Los Angeles
Brentwood Country Club is a private equity golf course that was designed by Willie Watson and John F. Harbottle. Brentwood Country Club's facilities include an 18-hole regulation golf course, tennis courts, a driving range, swimming pool, fitness center, clubhouse, and fine dining.
Mountaingate Country Club
Mountaingate Country Club is a private golf club at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, near the Getty Museum, in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. There are three 9 hole golf courses designed by architect Ted Robinson. The club includes 16 lighted tennis courts, complete practice facilities, a beautifully appointed clubhouse, and elegant fine dining.
Brentwood Residents Coalition
The Brentwood Residents Coalition (BRC), formed in 2009, is a voluntary, non-profit advocacy group whose purpose is to preserve and enhance the environment and quality of life in Brentwood. BRS is a member of the Federation of Hillside and Canyon Associations and the Westside of Los Angeles Neighborhood and Community Coalition.
Heroes Golf Course and Japanese Gardens
Heroes Golf Course and Japanese Gardens is a beautiful 9 hold golf course located in the heart of Brentwood on the grounds of the West Los Angeles VA Hospital. It is dedicated to providing veterans with the opportunity to learn and play golf. The course is open to the public based on a priority system with veterans having priority over non-veterans. The Brentwood Hospital Japanese Gardens are adjacent to the golf course and are open to the public.
Brentwood Public Library
The Brentwood Public Library, also known as the Donald Bruce Kaufman - Brentwood Branch Library is part of the Los Angeles Public Library System. It includes a children's area, teen area, meeting room, and lots of computers.
Brentwood Chamber of Commerce
The Brentwood Chamber of Commerce provides its members with numerous networking opportunities, educational programs and events, a valuable directory of members, discounts, referrals, and more. The chamber services Brentwood, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, and Bel Air.
J. Paul Getty Museum
The J. Paul Getty Museum, also known as The Getty, consists of the Getty Center in the Brentwood community of Los Angeles and the Getty Villa in the Pacific Palisades community of Los Angeles. The J. Paul Getty Museum, established in 1954, is an art museum. The primary campus in Brentwood features Western art from the Middle Ages to the present, while the Getty Villa features art from ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria.
Barrington Recreation Center - Brentwood
The Barrington Recreation Center is a beautiful public park and recreation facility located in Brentwood. The park includes picnic areas, four tennis courts, basketball, baseball, sports instruction classes, and lots of open space and trees. It is maintained and operated by the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.
Jackie Robinson Stadium
Jackie Robinson Stadium is the home college baseball stadium for the UCLA Bruins. The stadium is located off campus in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles, and seats 1,820. The college stadium is named after Jackie Robinson, the first black professional baseball player to play in the Major Leagues since the 1880s. He attended UCLA from 1939 to 1941 after graduating from Pasadena Junior College, now Pasadena City College.
