Irwindale, founded in 1860 and incorporated in 1986, is a small city in the San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County in Southern California. The population is under 2,000. Bradbury and Duarte are to the north, Baldwin Park is to the east and south, and El Monte is to the south west.
Irwindale Event Center
The Irwindale Event Center, also known as the Irwindale Speedway, is a highly popular motorsport facility that opened in 1999. The speedway features two oval banked racing tracks and a drag strip. The facility has a capacity of 6,500.
