Whittier Hills



The Puente Hills is a range of hills in the eastern section of Los Angeles County, south of the San Gabriel Valley. The western end of the range is also known as the Whittier Hills. The highest point is Workman Hill which rises to 1,391 feet. Rio Hondo College in Whittier, and Hellman Wilderness Park are at the western end of the hills, while the Schabarum Regional Park is partially in the eastern part of the hills. The Puente Hills offer great views of the San Gabriel Mountains.
